Kulaniapia is a large parcel, 22 acres and features our 120-ft. waterfall which is viewable from almost every corner of our inn. We are perched at a cool 850 feet above Hilo with panoramic ocean and waterfall views. We have over 2 miles of walking trails that wind along the powerful Waiau River, a 2-acre botanical garden with a 3-tiered waterfall. All baths are private and entirely finished in Italian marble. From Hilo Airport- Make first right at light after leaving the airport .. next light turn left .. left at last light (Wainuenue) .. Next right (Keane) over bridge and next left (Oha) Continue straight for one mile and follow signs to the inn.
