Forecasts
To get a 5-day forecast, use the Quick Forecast Finder at
the top of the right hand column. You may enter a city plus
state code (San Francisco, CA) or city plus country code
(London, GB) or a ZIP code for any US city. In addition,
you may browse our database of over 63,000 local forecasts
by country by clicking on the Browse
Forecast link located in the bottom of the right hand
column.

Map Index
You can find an index of our weather maps by clicking on
the Maps link
on the main navigation bar. The map index lists all of the
different types of weather maps on Qwikcast.com.
Map Icons
The map icons are located directly below the main image
window. The map icons link to the Satellite, Radar, Forecast, Precipitation, Hi's, Low's,
and Currently maps.
Some of these maps use Macromedia Flash™ to display
weather information. For more information about how our
Flash weather maps work, please see the "Flash Maps" section
below.
The map icons link to various weather maps appropriate
to the region you are in. For example, when you have a
map of the United States on your page, each map icon will
link to a US national map. However, if you have
a regional map, say Northwest US, on your page, the satellite
and other map links will go to the appropriate regional satellite,
radar, forecast, precipitation, hi's, low's or currently
map.
Flash Maps
Our Forecast, Currently, Records
and Averages, Travel,
and Sports
Forecast maps are all Flash maps. These maps display
weather information in a box located at the bottom right
hand corner of the map. To display the information for a
city of interest, simply hover over the city with your mouse.
If you click on the city buttons on the Flash maps, you
will receive a 5-day forecast for that location. If you
click on a state, you will receive a regional map including
the state on which you clicked. A scroll box will appear
in the right hand column with a list of cities in the state
that you clicked on. This is a list of representative cities
in that state, but does not include all the forecasts Qwikcast
makes for that state.
